I’ve been working in social for almost 15 years and still believe it’s one of the most effective ways to reach and build communities that has been invented.
I’m a social media listening expert and social strategist. This just means I do some really deep-dive research using social media to understand who your potential audience currently are, what they talk about on which platforms and all sorts of other insights. This is usually presented in the form of a strategic social listening report.
From there I then write a social strategy based on your company goals, my understanding of social, and all the things we now know about your audience.
Using this data + creativity + expertise formula allows me to create really robust strategies that deliver on my clients objectives.
During my career I’ve worked with agencies, brands, start-ups, movie studios, live experiences, FMCG, and even set up the social media team at GOV.UK (where I also authored the GDS social media playbook). I’ve done stints as Head of Social Media/Digital both agency and clientside.
I’ve also been involved in my share of award-winning projects, but I’m more concerned with doing good work with smart people on interesting projects.
