I worked with Manchester Agency ‘Love Creative’ to create a social media strategy for 5 of Diageo’s classic malts. These included Talisker, Oban, Singleton, Cardhu and Ron Swanson’s beloved Lagavulin.
I was tasked with creating an overarching strategy to open the brands to a new younger, hipper less traditional Single Malt drinking audience, and then creating 5 bespoke content strategies (one per brand) to fulfil the goal.
Diageo were keen to focus their attention on Facebook so I primarily looked at ways that we could use the algorithm to our advantage and begin to engage, as opposed to broadcast to, the single malts audience.
